Judy
Levene
Copywriter
Judy Levene is a seasoned, versatile writer
with a strong marketing orientation and excellent
critical thinking skills. Her creative abilities
span a wide range of business-to-business and
business-to-consumer communications: sales promotion,
direct and online marketing, advertising, fundraising,
and employee communications.
Judy
has particular expertise in developing and
writing marketing materials, Web site content,
brochures, newsletters, incentive programs
and sales support materials. Attentive to
both details and deadlines, Judy is known

has the ability to tailor her writing style

Judy's
creative talents have been recognized with
several awards. In 1998, she was a Global
EDS Marketing Award Finalist. In 1997, her
writing on a direct mail solicitation package
for Jewish Family Service earned a "KOVOD
Award for Excellence in Fundraising Materials,"
presented by the Association of Jewish Family
and Children's Agencies. Additionally, the
GTE VisNet brochure she wrote was honored
in 1995 with an American Corporate Identity
Award. Account experience includes EDS, WeServeHomes.com,
JCPenney, GTE, Kimberly-Clark, American Airlines,
marchFIRST, Zale Corp., and The Associates.
Judy
graduated with honors from the University
of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Advertising. Her postgraduate studies
in marketing continued at the University of
North Texas and University of Dallas, where
she was enrolled in evening MBA programs.
Her professional career began in 1979 with
Zale Corporation, where she spent seven years
gaining a solid grounding in specialty retail
marketing.
When
not "punching up" copy or applying her powers
of persuasion, Judy enjoys kickboxing aerobics
classes, stained glass projects and spoiling
her Akita-mix, Howie the Wonder Dog.
